By road, Norwich Airport is around 45 miles from Bury St Edmunds. Driving takes roughly 55 minutes via the A14 and A11, one of the shorter transfers we do.

Your options for getting there

Being close, the gap between driving and public transport is smaller here than on the London airport routes, but a transfer still has clear advantages:

Because it's one of our quickest transfers, some people assume a taxi app on the day is just as good — but Norwich still handles early departures and delayed evening arrivals, and a fixed price agreed in advance beats surge pricing at 4am regardless of the distance involved.

Pickup point & waiting time

Pickup is from the car park area just outside the terminal. Meet & greet inside the terminal is available on request as a paid add-on — it isn't included as standard.

You get 1 hour of free waiting time after your flight lands. After that, waiting time is charged at £25 per hour, payable directly to the driver on request.
